Listing Your Pets

How to create a litter, add individual pets, set pricing, and manage your listings.

Creating a litter

Everything on Anumau is organised around litters — a group of pets from the same parents. Even if you only have one pet to sell, you create a litter first.

  1. Go to your profile and click "New Litter" (or use the litter form page)
  2. Select the breed and species
  3. Set the expected date (or actual birth date if the litter is already born)
  4. Add the litter details — parent info, location, price, and photos

Adding pets to a litter

Once the litter is created, you can add individual pets. For each pet you can set:

  • Name: Optional, but families love it.
  • Sex: Male or female.
  • Colour / markings: Helps families identify which one they want.
  • Price: Can differ per pet if some have different traits or colours.
  • Status: Available, reserved, or sold. Mark as reserved once a deposit is paid.

Photos and media

Good photos make a huge difference. Upload photos for the litter overall, and add individual photos for each pet if possible. Families can also request photos or videos through the chat.

Photos are automatically compressed and optimised — no need to resize anything before uploading.

Deposits and pricing

When a family is ready to commit, they pay a deposit through Anumau to reserve their spot. You control:

  • The total price per pet
  • The deposit amount (set on your breeder profile as a default, overridable per litter)
  • Whether to accept the remaining balance on pickup or through the platform

Managing inquiries and waitlists

When families express interest, they'll message you through the platform. From a litter's management view you can:

  • See who's on the waitlist and their position
  • Invite someone from the waitlist to reserve a specific pet
  • Mark pets as reserved or sold as things progress

After the sale

Once a pet goes home, mark it as delivered in the litter management view. This triggers the payout release and allows the family to leave a review on your profile.
